The Michigan DNR is surveying sawmill operators and firewood producers to collect information on wood harvested from Michigan's forest lands.
Survey results will help the DNR assess trends in Michigan’s timber resources and update the Michigan Forest Products Industry Directory. This service helps landowners market their timber and connects businesses with suppliers of products and services.
All volume and capital investment information will be held confidential and used solely for statistical analysis and reports.
