Read about the Reopening of a Machine at Biron Mill to Boost Recycled Paper Production...

The ND mill in Biron, Wisconsin, announced that it will reopen a paper machine —PM 25– in the second half of 2025 after a shutdown that has now lasted more than a year from April 2024. It will add to the mill’s capacity to produce recycled linerboard and corrugating material, according to an announcement.
The Biron plant also manufactures recycled paper products from PM 26, which was converted in 2022, and OCC pulp. Reopening PM 25 will provide a boost to the Wisconsin Rapids’ region’s recovery from the 2020 shutdown of the huge Verso paper mill in the area.
ND Paper LLC is based in Oakbrook, Illinois, and also has manufacturing facilities in Maine and West Virginia.
